UV777 - BrandsShop4all?

Hey guys.

Well, I found this site and I was astonished with it's prices. 1000€/1300$ for an UV777? I thought about buying it straight away.

Still, I want to know your opinion. The site is:

http://brandsshop4all.com/product_in...3c20005aa3b650 - does it look legit and safe to you? Has anyone order from them before?

Thanks guys

idk man, those are usually about twice that price (?) idk, im an american whos not good with euros but i know that its about $2700 to $3000 around here (still probably wrong on that price but i know its a rip off!!!) i say get an rg1527 or sumthi, change the pickups, add a single coil, etc. everyone who plays my rg1527 says its better than any UV theyve ever picked up

I'm not sure the legetimacy of this, it is not a music dealer, its just a shopping website. Also, it is using stock photos, so it could be a bait and switch, the price is not spectacular either imo. I would MUCH RATHER buy from the classifieds here on jemsite, used is actually better alot of times, because they have been setup, broken in etc. if you buying, buy from a reputable music store, or rich. the latter is should be the first consideration.

I don't know--you might want to check with Rich. I'm sceptical of buying "legit" guitars that are sold by merchants that also sell clothing and jewelry. This is usually an indication of wholesale/counterfiet goods. I'll have to check that site again to see if the also sel "OEM" NFL jerseys at any price below $100--another red flag.

yeah, the 1527 is an epic axe, on par with j-customs of yesteryear (like the rg7-cst etc.)

Yep--just like the Jem 77VBK with the 2005-1 Prestige neck I just got from Jesse. It has Rich's full platinum service--much better than anything straight from the factory.

Re: UV777 - BrandsShop4all?

yea if you want the UV get it used on here. then you have a chance of getting an older model with the lo-pro edge trem instead of the new edge pro. but if you want the edge pro, you can find pleanty here as well. this really is the best way to go. and someone ALWAYS has one of those of you look hard enough

I wasn't after this UV, it's just for the price really.
When you say 1527, you mean the Edge-III version or the Edge Zero one? (1527Z)
Also, is a RG7620 better than the 1527?

Cheers!

Re: UV777 - BrandsShop4all?

The 1527 comes with either the edge pro, or edge zero. NO prestige models of ANY YEAR come with the edge III. The EP and EZ imo are both quite nice, maybe not "as nice" as the lo-pro and original edge. but they stay in tune like a rock. and if you take the zero-bar out of the EZ you can do some CRAZY things, a la rob balducci, and he does crazy flutters, dives and other mind blowing stuff, it brilliant!

yeah I meant edge pro. The Z version is more expensive, is it worth to pay more for an Edge Zero or is the Edge Pro fine?
Also, do you think it's better one of this or an old RG7620?

Cheers

Re: UV777 - BrandsShop4all?

I don't know about that place....I'd call and speak to someone before ordering anything from them, and then I still probably wouldn't order anything from them. I tend to buy used anyway, but if i was buying new I'd just buy from Rich.

Yeah, I'm not buying from them definitely. I'm just using this thread to ask some questions, no need to post a new one

Also, buying from anywhere in the US is out of question due to Shipping+Taxes. But thanks for the heads up!

Re: UV777 - BrandsShop4all?

something about that shop seems wrong,
everything is mostly 25%+ cheaper or 50%+ cheaper...
doesn't make any sense selling a Dean MAB 1 for $822.51 while retail price is $1,199.00 or a B.C Rich Mockingbird ST for 617.39 while retail price is $699.99 i just don't get it... a UV for 1300$!?! wut??
