UV77MC Pickup ideas.

So just for a thought because I`m bored of it and I`d like to add visual to it that I might switch back to the old DiMarzio pickups that I removed from this guitar. It currently has black ones, DeActivator neck and Invader at the bridge. They sound good but change is also good...

What DiMarzio pickups did the uv77mc come with? When I changed these it looked like original sodder but the pickups are yellow and green rather than green.

The Blazes out of my '98 UV777BK are marked "B1" and "N1"....bridge and neck respectively.

FWIW...the MC's came with green Blazes.

Re: UV77MC Pickup ideas.

Those match the Blazes in my UV77GR. If you want to go original, the UV77MC came with Blaze's in Green/Green rather than the Green Yellow you have there.

PM if you'd like to sell those Green-Yellows, I'm interested if they're the right price!

Re: UV77MC Pickup ideas.

I decided for fun that I`d put the uv77gr dimarzio blaze pickup back in the neck position, I had a black deactivator in it`s place, I like the colours on it. Sound wise, it`s not as bright but I like it. Good mellow tone.

Re: UV77MC Pickup ideas.

Haha! Thanks man! If I didn`t like the Invader so much in the bridge I`d put the other yellow/green Blaze in. I swear this guitar came with these yellow ones, it is odd but before I replaced them, the sodder looked original, untouched.
