Re: Want a DNA??

£1600 - £1700!!!

Are you being serious? Do you really think people "love the DNA swirl" soooo much to pay that? - if you really are receiving that amount of money then I am truly shocked!!

Don't get me wrong, I like the swirl but £1600-£1700?

I just can't get my head around people paying that much for a fake when you could buy a brand new jem for that, or a used "yummy". For example, I paid £1700 for my GMC and £1679 (or something) for my UVMC.

That was my point in regards to pricing, thanks!

Not literally, but we are talking in relation. That's why import tax exists
Even at $1,800 it's over priced!!! you could buy "ORIGINAL" used JEM's all day long on the bay for a lot less!

Which is why Americans don't buy high end guitars from us.

So it's a moot point to talk about it like that - it's priced for the UK market.

Don't roll your eyes at me like you do in every thread. You preach your opinions like they're gospel. It really gets on everyone's nerves.

I was not debating whether it was overpriced. I never said it wasn't. I believe it is - very much so.

= £900

Quite right Danny

But you've missed the point of one of my previous posts
Everything on mine are brand new top o the line parts apart from the rear of the neck.
Your quote is based on a beater of a 550 - swirl on a used RG (how much for Jem conversion) and doesn't include the price for it to be professionally assembled, set up, fret dressed etc......
Lots of guys want this service and i suppose thats who the buyers will be.....
I've sold plenty of UV and GMC and PMC conversions so far.......

Look, I don't care how you slice it that is not what you meant in this post:

And I guess my opinion must be gospel as you pointed out because I made a believer out of you!

Clearly, as is evident from all your posts, you're either not very sharp, or not very clever, and are only capable of viewing things ONE way.

You cannot say that that was an attempt to justify the price. I was bringing it down from extreme absurdity to regular overpricing
