Waste-O-Cash 2001 - It's Getting Better All The Time

Hey Everyone,

A few months ago I started drawing Jems & UVs for everyone one here to enjoy. *Here's the reason I started it all.

I've been getting parts for nearly a year now and I think I can finally hear the faintest heart beat in her now. *She's still limping a little, but I'll nurse her back to health.

As you see below, her Aunt Neon is keeping her company until I can mail her off to Uncle Darren.

Soon she will be the culmination of everything I like in a Jem. *Swirled logo and Vine leaves, neon green stem, original yellow V&T knobs & original switch cap ala my old UVMC, angled jack, and butt kicking, wall shaking, ear bleeding Evos.

It should all work out to look a lot like this:

Any comments? (Besides STOP PUTTING LARGE IMAGES IN YOUR POSTS SHROYER!!! )

Thanks for the comments. *I'm also going to take steel wool to the back of the neck just like I did the 777DY. *Currently the neck is cleared or whatever, I want to feel actual wood when I play. *There's not really a whole lot left to do to it, routings, paint, and the neck work. *Darren said there's a guy up here around Atlanta that he'll hook me up with to do the neck work.

Here's an older thread that has my other creations listed. *It's a pretty graphic heavy post.

... and yes, I am an R&D Graphic Designer *

I got an idea! Why don't you combine the two? put pics of girls all over the guitar (the neck too) until you can't see the original finish

It would take a Jemsite regular to make a statement like that! *We are the few who get such strong feelings about wood (uh, huh-huh, I said wood) and paint.

There a picture of a SSV guitar (stolen one) that has various naked ladies all over it, got that picture in the book when I was a kid (Thanks Steve!) *Swirled T&A all over the guitar? *Hmmmmmmm..... *Don't know how that would fly with my wife! *

I'd hide it under my bed and put 5 locks on the case, or my parents would kill me

PS. Wood is such a strong word

WHOA! Did you find a way to get a swirled looking logo for your headstock?

Waste-O-Cash 2001 = person who spends/bids more than $700 on the Ultra Zone guitar on eBay! *

Seriously though, I really dig the swirled logo. *That reminds me alot of the Jemfest 2001 shirt. *I dig the vine. *Really nice work!

Man that is beautiful. I hope everything works out for you because that would be some prize youd have there. That is the brightest DY I think I've ever seen (not that I've seen a lot anyway). I want one so bad.
