Best made or favorite?

My favorite right now is probably the 77FP. I just wish it had an AANJ.

Jem7RB, I like the older necks better than the new ones I've tried.

The 7VWH is my favorite. However, I think the DNA looks the coolest.

My overall favorites vs. best-constructed IMO are probably two different opinions. I'd say the later 77-series models are my favorite regarding construction. I prefer the original JEM neck profile and I love the sound of the direct-mounted pickups. Let alone, the finish concept on the FP is pretty unique. I have no qualms regarding the original neck joint, either. The DNA would be tied IMO if it had the original neck profile. Gotta love that crazy inlay and pickguard.

My favorites are tied: 77FP, 777VBK, and 777LNG as I've been in love with them the longest and now the DNA shares that spot as well.

Nah, it is a very cool guitar, only I prefer an AANJ.

As of now, I own a 7VSBL. I'd like to add a maple board Jem. Either a 77PMC, 77BFP or 777LNG.

I'm in agreement with Mike777 in that I prefer the original necks and the joint works for me. My first Jem was a DY.
Something about the 777 series...I now have a DBK because it fell into my lap, but as soon as I can find a clean 777DY - I'm buying it.

The DBK has some great features like neck shape and AANJ. The thing plays fast and arpeggiated runs for me are very clean-the neck breed sounds awsome, but again, my preference lies with the 777series.
And as strange as it may be, I also prefere the pyramid markers over the vine- easier for me to see where I need to be.

my favorite is the one I OWN!! (just because it is mine!)
i love the DNA pictured up top!! that is the COOLEST DNA i have ever seen!! (more drool in the keyboard)
i love them all- they are all special and unique in their own way. i would have more than a dozen factory ones and at least 6 custom jobs (LGM/ATD) if $ wasn't an object!
i love Simons' - most GMC models (the finish on the one on the index is one of my favs- very balanced), the DNA (especially the one pictured!! ) and of course an LNG for good measure!
couldn't rate the playability of them as i only have played the DBK and my own custom handmade mahogany Jem hybrid (thanks Frank!).

Music is something bigger and greater than myself and I'm just glad to be a part of it. -TJ
