Defo go with white. It's just the classic look imo.

Re: what color cliplocks

I've got white on mine. Wouldn't even consider a different colour.

I like to match my strap to the guitar. My RGT has a brown strap and my black JS1000 has a black.

Re: what color cliplocks

I never cared for the cliplock only because i've had bad luck with them, especially when I was playing a little more aggressively about 6 years ago, my 7620 went flying and the cliplock strap ripped right out of the horn leaving a gouge, it was repaired quickly though but another thing that always bothered me is when you take the strap off, you still have those cliplocks there hanging off your guitar, no thanks. Anyhow, if it's your thing, go for white.

so how do you keep your strap from falling off?

i don't like cliplocks for the same reason but i have them on one of my guitars and after band practise this week i'm putting a set on my other guitar.
(my extra long erine ball strap has to retire after years of loyal severice)

White is the best color choice IMO.

+1 though if the screw ripped out of the horn a normal strap would have come off as well.

As for alternatives, Dunlop locks all the way. No clip scraping your guitar when the strap's not on, and you can use any strap you like with them.

To answer the thread's original question, white.

Now? I don't play so aggresively so I just use a comfortable Ernie Ball strap, if I find myself playing more aggressive, I just use some duck tape.

Another thing I consider great is the strap buttons on my Ibanez 7s, I like them, they are very durable and they look cool.

Hell, Dimarzio just came out with the YJM strap. Leopard Print. It's cool as ****. Pick it up.

that could be happening with any straplock system. if the screw rips out of the horn it's not the straplocks fault, but yours. i couldn't live without Cliplocks, they're just the best overall and the most safe, hands down. and they also look cool.
anyway, white or purple look cool on a VWH.
