What does a clear (crystal planet) JS sound like?

I'm wondering what the clear acrylic Joe Sat guitar sounds like compared to its standard basswood counter part? Is it all for looks, or does it sound as good as wood? I'm just curious. Also, the chrome guitar, does that finish affect its tone in any way?

I'm in no way really qualified to answer as I've not heard one, but seeing as no one else has replied I regurgetate someones reply to a similar thread, saying something along the lines of a much bassier, tone with darker mids??

The chrome boy compared to a JS1000, I believe has a slightly different tone, similar to a JEM7WH or something, (both of which I like ) I think I remember someone telling me it was slightly smoother and rounder sounding than a 1000... I've not long bought a JS1000BTB (september last year) and since I've been developing my own tone, strangely, along the lines of a les paul Ive been told... to be honest, Im aiming for a middy tone, as apposed to a scooped shred tone... but for playing along to a satch CD, the guitar seems to have a very 'vocal' tone similar to joes...

just my 2p
