What happened to my tuning on my jem?

I got my ibanez jem 70v setup by a luthier but it stays in tune but just this one time every time I used the tremolo the tuning would go very flat but not e flat. It pissed me off because I just got it done but now it's fine? I don't even know how I just want to know what happened if anyone knows?

Nope. Sorry mate - could you please elaborate? I don't understand what you're asking. I'm not clear if your guitar was holding a flat pitch before or after your luthier set it up.

Luthiers are like dentists. You can trust just a few of them.

Re: What happened to my tuning on my jem?

So to confirm - The guitar presently is fine. And does not go out of tune.

But on one occasion, you had a problem where it went wildly out of tune.

But the guitar no longer has this problem, and you're simply worried about it returning?

Don't worry about it. If there's no problem with your guitar right now...there's no problem.

If you could type more coherent sentences, it would be easier to help you.

I have no idea what just happened here. This bit "but it stays in tune but just this one time every time" actually hurt my head.

Re: What happened to my tuning on my jem?

Um, I think what people are saying is, your sentence structure and grammar are bad enough that we're having time understanding what you're trying to ask.

Is english not your first language? That can make communication a bit tricky in writing over a message board like this. Try explaining exactly what the problem is, and try to explain it using lots of short sentences. Explain what you're doing when it DOES stay in tune, what you're doing when it DOESN'T stay in tune. And, if I understand you, you're saying it goes out of tune, but if you put it down for a while and then pick it up hours later, it's back in tune?

Re: What happened to my tuning on my jem?

English is my first language i was really tired when i wrote that. But the problem was: me and my friend were playing it and he noticed the tuning go flat and i said oh no big deal. I tuned from the fine tuners and played a couple chords and the tuning went flat. I then tuned it back up on the fine tuners and then played chords and the whammy and it wrnt flat again. I then put it in the case because i was going to take it back to the luthier the next day. That night after my friend left i took it out of the case tuned it up from the fine tuners then did some whammy dives and it was in tune after the dives and i did not know if this is a problem or not

Re: What happened to my tuning on my jem?

Sounds pretty familiar to me.
When you pull up the bar strings go flat, pull it down and your strings are kind of calibrated to normal.
After a while you're getting used to this issue.
Nothing wrong on your 70v and your luthier.
