Question What kindo Jem this is?

I think everyone of us can remember the boy appears in the Vai's famous "Audience is Listening" video called Thomas McRocklin.

He has a picture can be seen in an ibanez catalog from 93 or 94. Moreover, he has an ibanez jem but it is not a regular/production one. May be custom made.

Is there anyone has knowledge about that jem? 'Cos she looks damn pretty cool

I pointed out the guitar...

Can you turn the picture a little bit so I can see it from the front?

Green vine inlay, pink pickups, and headstock indicate an FP.

I think it was this guitar... He was in the 92 issue with RG550-570s. However I think that guitar was custom made...

Course, the blue kinda swirl on the body suggests something else...

Maybe its a FP neck, on a custom body with pink pups, he was an endorser back then...

edit: woops, no FP neck after all

at the Clio.
At 27 he shouldn't really be that proud of it.
Too funny.

Re: What kindo Jem this is?

I'm surprised with all the things he did with Steve that he didn't end with Weiners position. Now he's just a washed up nothing. He can't possibly be making enough money off those B4G CD's, even Symphony X isn't at the point where the members can live off the CD sales. (although Mike LePond said mabie with the next album)

How on earth do you determine that he's a "washed up nothing"?

Re: What kindo Jem this is?

I agree... he was working with Steve Vai before puberty... something the MAJORITY of us will never achieve as adults... how can anyone have the balls to call him "nothing?"
