Where to buy trs bridges

I want to buy a low pro trs bridge, like the one on the vai but have no idea where. Anyone got any links?

Vai doesn't use a Lo-TRS bridge. He uses a Lo-Pro or an original Edge.

I'm sure any Ibanez retailer could order them in if they don't already have them in stock (I've had good luck with such parts). What country are you in?

There are many alternatives to the TRS, like the original Floyd Rose.

Re: Where to buy trs bridges

if your thinking about taking a guitar and putting a double locking floyd rose type trem on it get one of the better ones because the cost isn't really that different. An original Floyd rose is 200 bucks and the routing is the same for either one to get it done, you could keep your eyes open and nab an Edge off of Ebay for under a hundred bucks if your careful.

If you have one of the older Korean RG's or something and it has messed up get an original floyd rose as a replacement. It is a direct swap for the TRS.

the better floyd rose trems:
Original Floyd rose
Edge
Lo Pro Edge
Edge Pro

the less good ones:
Liscensened floyd rose
trs
trs II
edge pro II
Edge III

Re: Where to buy trs bridges

Steve plays mostly EDGE bridges although lately Flo (Steve's second guitar) has been fitted with a Lo Pro Edge.

This is what they look like

http://www.jemsite.com/axes/htm_features/trems.htm

and here's the place that sells them

http://www.ibanezrules.com/parts.htm#Trems

Whereabouts are you located and do you want to get the full kit or just the bridge?
Best thing to do is to email Rich (swirly banner above) and see what he can do for you.
If you are based in the UK and don't want to import parts PM me and I'll send you to a good local dealer.
