Why not just order one from best-decals.com? Shipping can't be that much.

Re: Where to get decals from in the UK?

They are out there,i have bought a couple of high quality batches from the UK,though both vendors **** accounts have been closed or unused for a cpl of years.
Paint and cut was the name of one vendor on the bay.

Any vinyl decal cutting store should be able to do something for you,and personally i'd be asking Jaden Rose (cottam guitars) and 'out of this swirled' for some clues.

Re: Where to get decals from in the UK?

hi,

best decals are not as good as the original ibanez logo headstock.
that's funny because i saw that Flobanez gets the same problem as me on his rg7620 that he wanted to look like a white UV:
i ordered an "IBANEZ UNIVERSE" (so we're talking about here a 7 string RG decal) and it is not the same at all that i received compared to my RG7420 original decal! it is thinner and smaller. so may be there 6 ibanez decals are great but my experience 7 string experience shows the reverse !

manta.

Re: Where to get decals from in the UK?

I have these, I use them on my guitars that I swirl and then offer for sale, I dont measure them to a thou of an inch of the originals. All I know is they do the job!

My Decals are not from best decal, I have a guy who does them for me in my town.

Re: Where to get decals from in the UK?

they do there job ok and they are great quality decals but if you compare the "V" of the Ibanez logo with some original ones, the decal is thinner/ tinner (don't know the right word in english) at the angle. i just say that for purists that they are not exactly the same... may be because of copyright problem i don't know ?

Re: Where to get decals from in the UK?

This is the refurb'd head on my UV7BK. Decal is from best-decals.com. From all the pics I looked at of guitars from Fujigen, it looks pretty much spot on to me. Camera used was on my cell phone, so color is much brighter that the pic shows.

Uhhh-that's because the originals are not decals--they're silk-screened on the headstock.
best-decals makes the best vinyl logo decals of these. If you want one just like the original, then you'll have to hire an artist to do a silk-screened logo. Be prepared to pay out the butt for a custom, one-shot silk-screened logo, as opposed to the $12.00 for a vinyl decal that looks just as good, but won't scratch off like the original.

Re: Where to get decals from in the UK?

Any sign company can download the original .eps file from bestbrandsoftheworld dot thingy, open it up in their sign cutting software, crop it to size, a bit of welding, cut, done.

I own a vinyl cutting machine, would take me all of 2 minutes to cut these decals, but i dont have many vinyl colours as its not my main business, i bought my vinyl cutter to do my car and my company vans & signs etc....

There are usually legal issues to deal with when copying, printing, and selling someone else's logo.
