And boy are my high expectations excceded (And those where high ones). I have played jems at the local guitar store, but this one is infinitely easier to play. The action is super-low, and with the light strings even I can do decent sounding runs and sweeps
. The neck seems very thin and as if there is no clear coat on the back, so the thumb slides without any jerking.
I have borrowed a RG570 from a friend for a while, and after getting the 90, I have come to the conclution that his RG must be one of the poorest setup guitars know to man with about 1 cm action at 12th and the tremolo locked pointing downwards to the neck and wound G string(And he has even used it on two record recordings).
Finally the V-amp2 arrived today, so now there is no more desecrating the 90 using a Peavy Rage amp.(I know, the v-amp is kind of "newbie" but I cant afford a Soldano yet)
I bought it from the other side of the world, from Andrew at IbanezCentre in australia (I live in Norway). They are highly recommendable, beeing friendly, easy to get hold of, honest and great luthiers.
