Woohoo! I own a UV777BK...again! :)

For many of us, I'm sure there is at least one guitar we regret getting rid of. Well, I sold my 1st UV777BK 2 years ago & have missed it ever since. During this time, I played an RG7620 that was customized with a new paintjob and a set of EMG707s. Well, I started a new prog metal band & had my first practice this past weekend. The other guitarist had a UV777BK refretted with Dunlop 6000 fretwire. He thought he had the perfect guitar, that is, until I pulled out my custom RG7! Each of us flipped over each other's guitars. He wanted mine and I wanted his. After a few hours of playing them, we traded straight up! Now, I'm once again, a proud owner of the UV777BK! With the new fret job & setup, it's the "easiest" playing guitar I've EVER played! Like butter I tell you! Oh what a shredder's delight!

You're very lucky,
On day you 've got a guitar and the other day you've got the one you really want without pending any $. Great deal!
Have fun with it and do not sell it again...

While I thought my JS-3 "Donnie" was one of the worst playing guitars I've
ever owned, I do regret selling it because I really loved the paintjob.
I'm glad a good Ibanez collector bought it (otherwise I wouldn't have sold
it), and it has a good home now.

Since I'm just getting back into playing after a 7+ year break, I've
managed to get a JS-1 Inferno Red, a brand new JS-1000 Black Pearl,
and a beautifull Root Beer Jem, which always was one that I wanted,
but I bought the JS-3 instead. And honestly, my new Root Beer Jem is
absolutly the BEST playing guitar I've ever owned.

Heh, and I just put money down on a Jemsite Members UB777BK!
So as soon as I pay that off, I'll have my *FIRST* 7 string!

Congrats on the nice trade...I'm glad that worked out for you!

Now if I can just find that JS-6 that's been alluding me...

me too...

I too have had my 7-strings refretted with larger fretwire. I have always played 6100 since I strted playing, and it certainly helped me get more comfy with it...
