Woot! Got my JS-6 Finally!

Hehe, two guitars I've always wanted...My Root Beer Jem, and a JS-6.

I am so in love with both of these guitars, I can't imagine EVER selling
them.

Along with my UV777BK that really surprised me with it's quality and
build, and my JS-1000 that I might repaint (just because), my playing
collection is almost complete!

I just need a 7DBK now!

Thanx brother for thinking of me when you needed to sell you JS-6.
Believe me when I say it went to a good home!

I may be next in line for a JS-6, though i'm half tempted to have a 7-string version of it made. Congrats!

If anyone else has one of these they want to send to a new home, just let me know!

Sorry reaper, you must be too old to understand 1337 5p33k!

Darren, I'm thinking the SAME thing!

I've started drawing up ideas for a 7 string JS with a stop bridge.
I mentioned it here a few months ago...I'm thinking it might make a great
christmas present to myself!

I wonder if Eddie has those CNC templates for the JS body style yet. Wouldn't be too hard to widen out the middle section to 7-string width.

I sent him a message a while back on this, and I guess he is still working
on JS bodies. I've not bothered him about it lately because I just don't
have the cash.

Since we are on the subject, I'll share my idea.

I'm thinking Mohogany JS Body, H-H configuration, stop bridge,
PAF7 Neck and Fred 7 bridge (assuming), and a neck like my UV777BK
(I'm not sure if the UV necks vary like the Jem necks, but I KNOW I like
the 777BK), but I would like Ebony fretboard with Mohogany inlays in a
tribal style!

I'm thinking silver hardware...but I bet most others would prefer brass/gold
hardware.

Oh yeah, and the typical Push Pull and coil tap wiring of the JS guitar.
I was even considering Pink Pickups ala Root Beer Jem.

LR, this has been a guitar you've been talking about for a LONG time. Glad to see you get the thing, hope it rocks(looks like you think it does. )

yeah Drew.

A little finish repair and maybe some new knobs and I'm SET!

Damn, i should have picked up some knobs while I was at Guitar center.

Hey, come to think of it...I wonder if these plastic ones are even the
original knobs!

Can anyone tell me?

Thanx Rich. Heh, forgot you were there! Hehe.

It's kinda hard to use the Push-Pull with these buttons.
I think I'll switch to the chrome domes.
