You all were right

So I admit it you all were right. Had some issues with the UV70P. It was a nice guitar except for the couple issues it had. I truely liked it a lot. But the issues could have gotten worse. So i sent it back. They were supposed to send me a replacment but they screwed that up. So i got a refund. Already found another place to get a new one which would have been perfect condition and setup. But then I found this and it was cheaper than the brand new 70P. So long story short I fixed my UV70P problems....

With a 91 UV7BK. The 70p was great, but the UV7 is amazing. I reaaaallllyyy see and feel the mojo now.

Maybe its bc I had to restring it, Im using ernie ball cobalts but this thing is a beast. Its got a richer more full sound. Maybe these strings on the 70p would sounded better than what it came with. So it might not be completely fair to say the UV7 sounds that much butter. Either way. This UV7 sounds amazing.

Nice....My first was a '98 777BK.

It should be 7mm, but you won't fit a socket into there. Did the guitar come with the correct tool? If not, hit Rich up. I think he still sells them.

Part# WR70PD check with him to insure it's 7mm and not 8mm.

Re: You all were right

Congrats! Much better choice and original pink lined case too. Miles apart from the Premium. Give it hell.

Unless it fell down in the case somewhere I dont have it. Any other options for now? Just need a little bit of relief in the neck and itll be perfect. Action is really low, feels good, but buzzing on 1st fret.

Re: You all were right

The only other issue is the neck pickup. In the full neck position its super quiet, on a clean channel it cant really be heard(this is at normal room levels, not cranked to blow the windows out). In the neck split it sounds normal, and same volume as each of the following positions. The pickup still has a magnetic pull when I put metal over it. When cleaning I didnt think to check the wiring but I did snap a pic. I doubt its a good enough pic to show but can anyone see where my issue may be?

It does sustain very well. But a lot of that could be due to the strings. If you compared my old 70P to this UV7 you would think the UV7 is a newer guitar. It sounds brighter, more on fire. But again, this could be due to the strings. I will say the UV70p is a great guitar IF you get a good one. However the one I was about to buy was going to be more than this so I technically went the cheaper route lol.
