*ADVICE* Modding a Mint RG 7621 Neck

Ah man, what a drama

I am building a 7 string RG and am planning on a white body/white pickguard option. The only problem is that the 7621 neck I have is dead mint with no chips on blemishes on the headstock and it seems like a waste to sand it all off to go white...... I can't make a white gat with a black headstock (thats just how I roll haha).

I figure that if I can be swayed to refinish the headstock..... I may as well replace the FB with a blank Ebony strip... which would be a waste also..... as the frets look new and the FB has no wear.

At the end of the day, it will be a mint custom or a half assed job without the mods... I could change the colour to black to suit.... but ... that's a little too safe and has been done.

I know this is a choice I need to make but maaaaaaaaan! I can't make my mind up and want to take it to a wider audience... as is needed.

Cheers for the help dudes.

white with black is fine add a black guard and white pups and its going to look nice. or sell the neck and get something you can mod cheaper.

Get ET Guitars to just paint the headstock for you.

Or better yet, you can get yourself a custom decal that will cover the WHOLE face of the headstock, just try and get someone who can make custom decals and have them scan your headstock and make you a decal/sticker that's gonna cover the whole headstock, with the Ibanez logo printed in black, on a white surface.

Hope that idea suits ya!
