If you're worried about damage to the guitar you might want to try light tops heavy bottoms, eg 10-52. I'm not sure how well that would save the trem post on the bass side though.
From my experience, the bass strings are usually not tight enough, and the high e and g strings are usually really tight in comparison, so that kind of string gauge works better for me personally. I mean, why would you want such tight treble strings to begin with, unless all you play are chords? I wish they made the b string slightly bigger though.
