1527 Royal Blue... I need an accurate pic of the finish!

As the title suggests, I'm after a pic or two of the Royal Blue finish on the RG1527. It always looks very dark in most of the pics I've seen, but in others it looks very nice, like a summers evening sky! Do you have any "realistic" pics, or is it another one of those impossible-to-photograph finishes?

those describes it pretty well. in bright light it goes sparkly-blue, but in darker conditions (like a badly-lit room, maybe most gigs) it looks almost black. you can see the difference in where the flash hit it directly and where its angled away from the flash. I closed all the curtains except one and turned on the light to take this pic

Hey thanks Scotte, I appreciate the pics. I think I'm probably gonna go for the RB rather than Galaxy Black, it's pretty nice looking. I intend to install white pickups and knobs which I reckon should work well. Cheers again!

Personally, I think the blue is much nicer looking than the galaxy black. Definitely go with the blue if you can

I wish the RG1570 was that kind of blue...the RG1570 is a tad too dark IMO...but I really like dark metallic blue.

For what it's worth, i also prefer the Royal Blue.

It'll be a new one, unless a mint used one comes up by the time I have the money together.
