Re: is this a 1570?

not a 1570, but a 570. going by the sharktooth inlays (sharkteeth?) it's probably a 570EX.

Re: is this a 1570?

They made the 570's right up until 2002, then it changed to 1570.

Ive got an RG570EX CBK (Cyber Pink - or Silver to most people!) from 2002, and they switched to using the Edge Pro the year after.

The 570 you have there actually looks the same colour as a 570 body ive sanded down.

If you bought this, i hope it was at a 570 price and not a 1570 one.

Re: is this a 1570?

Going by the bay prices at the moment. You can pickup a 570 from around $300 -$350. I couldn't find any used 1570's on the bay so i can't give you a used price, but new i think they are about $699 -$799?

no more than $400USD, which minus my $0.02, comes to $399.98USD.

Re: is this a 1570?

What you paid for it doesn’t really matter now, so just know it is a great guitar and will serve you well.

Re: is this a 1570?

oh ok it just sounded like you expected a higher price range than $300-$350US

i would be happy with paying $450AU for that, but i can't stand the EDGE
