1984 Destroyer DT 350 FAKE? (Pics)

Hey guys, Im looking at an auction for an 1984 Ibanez Destroyer DT 350 (or so the seller says it is) but I noticed that the headstock is missing any reference whatsoever, its just plain white, what do you guys think?

Looks real.
Logos come off, get scratched off.
This model is not a common countetfeit.
Everything looks authentic--right down to the smaller dot inlays.

Toggle switch looks like it's broken off BTW.

That looks like a legit '85 DT250. The pups have been changed (should be V5's) but the powerocker bridge and chamfered body make me believe it's a correct 250

The 250 didn't have that bridge--the 350 did....usually.
We all know there were exceptions.
I have a 350 with the standard bridge.

Yeah I did notice that too, Im leaning towards start a project with this guitar, maybe swap the pickups for some Dimarzios and replacing the switch, what do you guys think this guitar is worth?

I would pay NO MORE than $350-400, considering it has what appears to be the original hardshell case.

And--that would be a KILLER project!!!!!!!!!

Just the opposite. The 350 had the Pro Rock'r and the 250 got the powerocker. Plus, if you look at the OP's body edges you'll see their beveled. They only did that on the 250 and the XV's.
