1994 Iceman help needed

Hello all,
Photos to come!

I've had this guitar for some time and decided to start doing a bit of research into it. All I have found out is that it was made in Japan in 1994 from searching the serial number. The last guy I bought it from put a Seymour Duncan middle pickup in and a push pull pot acoustic simulator (bit weird, I know). Can anyone tell me anything about iceman guitars of this year and origin? Or anything else about it. I'm guessing it's not worth a lot but nice to know a bit about the thing.

Thanks in advance!

First guess would be aN IC500 modded for three humbuckers, but it's very difficult to say without better detail pics. To my knowledge the IC500 is the only Japanese Iceman produced that year, and there weren't many of them.

Is the binding around the body pearloid? Bolt on neck or set in neck?

The neck is bolt on and the body isn't pearloid, just white to be honest. These are characteristics which confused me a bit. Similar to the ones shown in this photo...except the rear one in the photo is a bass.

Looks like Ibanez actually made an IC300 in Japan in 1994 as well, that was a bolt on neck. So I guess it's likely one of them, with modifications

Ah right. I kinda wish he hadn't modified it tbh. I'm guessing they aren't worth alot as they're not overly old.

Even unmodified it wouldn't have been particularly "valuable" or collectable, so as long as you like the way it plays and sounds, I wouldn't be very concerned with the mods. You don't even have to worry about putting the first ding on it, so you can throw caution to the wind and just rock!

Ah right. It's always been great when i've gigged it so I don't think I would've had the heart to sell it even if it was valuable. But its good to know which model it actually is all the same.
