in the 200-300 range

I'm looking to buy a guitar in the $200-300 range. I was looking at the rg350ex/dx, but there just alittle out of my range, and I heard alot of gripes about them.

anyhelp? (srry if this is in the wrong place)

i'd personally get a used ibanez for that . if your lucky you may even be able to pick up a used rg570 for 300 or a little more .

the 350dx aren't that bad actually, they are great guitar with that price it offers but it seems a little bit out of range from you budgeted price

i'd either get an rg321 (non-trem) or do what the others say and get a used 550/570/1550/1570.

the bigest thing for me is a good trem and decent pickups.

^ used 500/1500 series. and switch the pickups. or hope the guy who had it already did. or else just put up with them. They aren't great, but they're usable.

I dunno how good a used RG5xx guitar you can find for 300 bucks. Your best might is probably to get an Ibanez RG321MH since they can be had for $280 brand new.

Re: in the 200-300 range

It'd be pretty tough to get a good trem on an RG321

You can easily find decent RG5xx's around $300, I do it all the time. I've bought several over the last few years and pride myself on keeping most of them under $250. It may have stock pups, so you'd have to drop some to upgrade those, but the stock Vs aren't horrible.
