The 2003 Ibanez family picture

As many of you know (mostly because I've sold guitars to you or bought guitars from you over the past few weeks), I've been changing around my guitar collection considerably. I tend to go through buying/selling phases... I won't buy or sell anything for several months, then within a couple weeks I'll buy/sell/trade half a dozen guitars. Anyway, I finally finished up all my recent sales & acquisitions, and here's what I've ended up with:

Front, L to R: RG1077XL-RB Prestige, RG-PR1 Prestige, RG2680M-DBK Prestige, RG2420-TB Prestige, RGT3120-TV Prestige, RG3120-TW Prestige, fixed bridge UCEW, RG1880-BGS J-Custom, RG1680x-AM J-Custom

Back, L to R: RG7CT-VV Prestige, UV777-BK, Jem7-VWH, Jem90-HAM, JPM100-P1, JPM90-HAM, RG-ART J-Custom

What's significant about the collection, is that of the Ibanez 16 guitars that I have, every one of them is either a Prestige, USA/J-Custom, or signature series Ibanez. This is the best set of Ibanez guitars I've had so far, and I'm pumped about putting them to good use on my band's next CD.

Anyway, just a little eye-candy to get everybody ready for Halloween!

Here's a link to a higher-res one... that's as big as it gets since my digital camera is 6 years old.

Yea- there has to be an emoticon that sums up "Rageful Envy". The little devil ones come close, but not close enough.
Nice collection as usual man!

I'm going to use that pic as a background on my laptop
That RG1880-BGS J-Custom sure is pretty; is she a maple topped mahogany body like a 3120? How does she feel neck wise, compared to say, your 7VWH?

thanks,

jim

Yeah, the 1880 is pretty much like a 3120 when it comes to the body. The neck is a completely different story... it's a 5-piece neck bound with flamed maple. It is without a doubt the thickest Ibanez neck I'ver ever played (thicker than the 7V, thicker than the Jem RB, thicker than any Ultra or JPM neck).

That said, I really dig it... it's got more meat & taters than any other Ibanez, so it's got a super solid feel to it.
