22 fret GSA neck replaced by 24 fret RG neck? possible?
hi, i'm trying to do some project on my oldass 2002 Indonesian Ibanez Gio GSA60.. well, since the neck on that guitar is pretty much f'd up, i would have to get a cheap, non-floyd nut, ibanez neck.. the problem is, I CAN'T FIND ANY THING ON 'BAY!! there are mucho RG necks there, but not a single SA neck.. so i'm thinking about getting an RG neck that doesn't have Floyd nut and use it as a replacement on my GSA.. but it's 24 fret and the neck is slightly (about 2 last frets?) longer than regular 22 fret ibanez neck.. so if i just install 24 fret rg neck into my gsa, will i have a problem with pitch & intonations?
