22-fret RG with FR2????

Ive come across an 80s Ibanez RG (or very similar) with a FR2 and 22 fret neck. now, Ive never heard of the RG series having anything other than 24 fret necks, so if anyone has any idea of what I am bidding on (Im only bidding on the body) I would appreciate the input.

Probably a late 80s EX.

My friend's RG440 had a weird body shape, 22 fret neck, and Edge. The body seems to be across from a Power and an RG.

as you can see, nothing weird about the shape here, just a regular rg

I assume by fr2 you mean floyd rose 2? Definitely NOT stock. Probably replaced the trs trem and its the link that darren gave us . If I was a gambling man I would bet money on it

but the routing doesnt really look like the usual TRS rout. a bit too square. that might just be my imagination though.

Im waiting for an answer from the guy selling it to find out what it really is.

Well they could have replaced the edge tremolo as well . So that would explain the curve of the route
