It's the Washburn EC-29. As I said, they are rare but they occasionally turn up on the Bay. I've seen very few of them, though. On the other hand I haven't been looking for them.

I seem to remember seeing pics in guitar magazines in the 80's of Paul Gilbert playing a 36 fret guitar. The body was symmetrical and had 2 long, slender horns.

I can't really remember any other details.

Very few come up for sale! I'm always looking at the fleabay auctions.
an EC-36 just sold a couple of weeks ago for like $770 something
I thought it went awfully cheap and I was tempted for a minute to add it to my collection since I already own an EC-29.
