Aligning your springs that way will have no affect on the string tension. All you're doing is applying uneven tension to the block, and likely to the trem posts. If you want better tension on your lowest string, the only two things you can do are raise the pitch or increase the string's gauge.
From your photos, it's impossible to tell if your truss rod needs aligning.
If your trem is an Edge Pro model, your angle looks about right. If it's an Edge or Lo-Pro, it's sitting a wee bit too far back.
Necks aren't so sensitive that a slight adjustment to the spring angle would cause warpage problems.
