'92 rg550 fixer upper

I can't figure out how to post the pictures but I picked up a 92 rg550 at a pawn shop for $130. It only had two strings strung up and the Floyd rose was missing a few set screws . It doesn't have a back plate , the tremelo bar wiggles loose slightly (appears to be a loose nut) and to top it off the action is off and the higher notes buzz . Oh also they put a matte grey finish over the electric blue on the body but left the headstock alone. For 30$ I got it strung up, everything screwed in , ****ef with the action and plugged in and it's still buzzing on the high notes . It sounds like it's almost coming from my neck humbucker or possibly the single coil , just a slight buzz . The relief looks just fine but I haven't done a whole lot of this before. I'm wondering if anyone has experience fixing a buzz on these rg series. Never had an Ibanez before , all Jackson . Figured the tremelo on the bitch was almost worth 130$ so I had to grab it . Hopefully it turns out to be a sweet little shred stick , any advice would rock . Again I wish I could toss these pictures on but I cannot figure it out baha . Thanks

Re: '92 rg550 fixer upper

My 89 RG750VP has some noise from the pups coming through the amp. What it is is that Ibanez didn't put any paint inside the cavity where the pickguard is, so it makes some noise because of that. Just means your palm muting has got to be spot on

For yours though, maybe there's a bad solder somewhere. I'd have it looked at by a good luthier and get her up to speed.

Any news on the 550? If you live in ohio I could help you out.
