I'll jump right to it...
Ruby Red Rg565 proto or RG765.... whatever you want to call it...
The guy wants $1,100 for it... which i feel is a little outrageous but i figured i would ask for some expert advice

Re: Advice...

Seems high to me, possibly not to the level of "outrageous", depending on how bad you want it. You know what it is, you know if it's something you want, if it's in great condition, maybe it's worth it to you. Are you concerned about reselling it later at a loss? If not, and you can afford it, who cares if you overpay a little? It's a fairly rare find. At least, that's how I look at it.

Re: Advice...

If I have 1,100 laying around, the 765 or 565 proto is in pristine condition, I would go for it.

Re: Advice...

There was one on **** recently which did NOT sell for $800. I wanted it, but thought even that was too high. Perhaps if it was MINT, I'd consider it. But not $1,100.
