Agile Interceptor 7

Hey guys. Being an Ibanez bunch i figure you will be the best people to ask.

Played Ibanez all my life and am curious about a 27" guitar and the Agile Interceptor Pro 727 fits the bill for me spec wise.

My concern is this ongoing neck thickness debate, im curious what you guys all think about them regarding the comfort of the neck profile. Its the only thing that is putting me off at the mo.

Thanks in advance

Re: Agile Interceptor 7

Some people say you can't feel the difference between scale lengths, I for one can tell... A LOT! Neck shapes on agiles aren't bad, if you somewhat larger hands you will find it comfy.

If you plan on drop tuning more then say drop A, go with 27. If you're planning on keeping it close to standard, go with 25.5 in my opinion.

Agiles are good bang for the buck, but don't expect ibanez MIj quality.

Re: Agile Interceptor 7

I've had two Agiles, a 727 Interceptor Pro and a 725 Interceptor Pro. I definitely preferred the 725 Pro but both guitars had necks the size of a tree trunk. I have big hands so it wasn't too bad but it definitely was a noticeable increase in size.

FWIW, I got rid of both Agiles as I just could not bond with them at all.
