Re: Am I the only one who isn't a fan of Ibanez guitars?
Okay, too many people are taking my statement WAY too personally.
First off, I just said I wasn't a fan of their guitars, save for JEMs (that's why I'm here...). I didn't say they were bad, each to his or her own. It's just my personal opinion, I'm not forcing it on you.
And no, I'm not a southern rock or country player. In fact, I think a 24-fret locking trem model wouldn't be bad, but quite useful for shred, which I've been getting into, and even classical stuff.
As for PRS, I personally am not a fan of them either, I've just never found their guitars to feel right. I think that a guitar should be able to sonically and musically portray emotion, I don't feel anything when I play a PRS. Even Gibsons, I've not been a huge fan of their stuff; it's decent, but not amazing. It's my personal taste.
Even everything Fender puts out isn't gold. There's a LOT of crap in their line. If I don't like Ibanez, that's my personal taste. I don't care what YOU play, it's whatever you feel personify's your sound the best.
I was just wondering if anyone else here just liked the JEMs and not Ibanez in general.
