AMERICAN MASTER

HEY EVERYONE! I HAVE A AM3. (I BELIEVE.) IT IS NECK THROUGH AND HAS A METALLIC BLUE FINISH WITH MATCHING HEADSTOCK. I PUT THE PETRUCCI PICKUPS IN IT AND ABSOLUTELY LOVE THE GUITAR. IF ANYBODY OUT THERE KNOWS MORE ABOUT THEM LIKE WHAT THE RETAIL WAS, HOW MANY WERE MADE, USED VALUE, AND HOW THEY COMPARE TO THE NEW RGT 3120. ALSO IF YOU HAVE ONE TELL ME ABOUT YOURS AND WHAT YOU THINK OF IT. THANKS, DANIEL.

It's an MA2, the 3 is a trans finish. Wouldn't be this one is it?

It's made the rounds a few times since I had it, the sticker was removed by a subsequent owner.

BTW, typing in all caps is frowned on here.

Thanks for all your help. It is not the one that was sold by Rich. I have actually had this guitar for several years. Just curious. The caps button will not be left on again. Thanks, Daniel.

There ya go. I'm real partial to basswood so I actually like it the best of the MA's, not for looks, that has to go to the MA3 trans purple, but for tone I'll stick with the bass. Nice to see another surface, and welcome to the forum!

Yes sir

As for info, besides what posted on Jemsite [links above], there are a couple members into MA's here and the concensus is that a serial # over 100 hasn't been seen. Although there are quite a few that have no number at all. Does yours have the paper serial sticker like the one I had?

Hey Rich, it's a pleasure to meet you. Mine does not have the serial sticker like yours. I e-mailed you earlier today about your RGT 3120. If you get pic's of the used one i am interested. Do you have a EBMM JP model?

I know, but biz gets left in email, not here

The RGT neck is much different from the MA2, at least i remember the last one I had as very thin and V shaped, which is like the MA2Stone I have now.

Chris, I've been sleeping through my snipes [even when awake] more often than getting them bid lately!
