Re: on another forum....

The right thread for the casual bragger who very shortly not only will include all stop boxes ever owned but also every freakin girlfriend, even if some are made up while others had been paid for.

No man, just a thread for reflection and to remind some of us how silly we can be at times when it comes to gear.

Re: on another forum....

I have noticed and i don't mean it in a bad way that participating in a forum like this is 90% responsible for all my purchases. I think if there where no internet i still had one guitar and would be fine.

if there is no internet, I would drive a brand new honda civic and have some healthy amount in my bank.

in fact.... I drive an old civic, my salary only to pay my credit card bills, no savings, I cried everytime i look my bank summary, but I have 13 nice high end guitars back home....

from the last 3 years I swore I want to quit buying guitars, but here we go again...

Re: on another forum....

Another poor newb, I currently own:

RG550MXXRF
ARC100BS
Escobedo Brothers classical
Gibson Blue Ridge acoustic

My first guitar was a no-name acoustic dreadnought that was left behind when a roommate moved out. I didn't even know the guy; I was moving in. He was emo before the term existed . . . he had painted this guitar all over (including the fretboard and headstock) in red and black. I cleaned it up, tried to learn on it, and sold it for $30.

Oh, yeah . . . If didn't read here and on the Ibanez board, I'd be happily banging away on my ARC100, blissfully ignorant of the RG20TH.
