Any production one-hum models?

Are there any Ibanez production models that only had one humbucker?

Re: Any production one-hum models?

In the Prestige series, yes but the line up changes from year to year. I don't think they make one at this time.

I have one but for the life of me I can't remember the model number and it is a 2007 I think. Maybe '06.

It is black, binding on the neck and body, cosmic chrome hdwe and ghost inlays.

One Duncan Custom ( I think ) humbucker which I replaced with a Duncan Distortion and a volume control.

It is my fave out of the 4 Prestige guitars I own.

Maybe someone here has some pics as I do not.

Also, back in the late 80's early 90's they had the USA Custom guitars, and Metal Design series, or something like that....

Re: Any production one-hum models?

Recently, there was a RG2610 in everything black. Kinda like the Fender Aerodynes.

Presto!

That is it.

I don't think they make any regular production models with just a hum but I could be very wrong.

Re: Any production one-hum models?

Are you talking about Ibbies that had one hum AND other pups, or just a model that had one pup that was a hum? The RG565 had 1 hum and 1 single. The 560 had 1 hum 2 singles, etc.

Re: Any production one-hum models?

Just one hum by itself. The H/S RG565 is also cool.

I had the Prestige 2610E. Awesome guitar minus the sharktooth. I never could get used to that..

Pretty sure that guy is selling on SS.org as well. Its a great guitar, heavy as hell and plays awesome. Like I said I loved mine minus the sharktooth.

Re: Any production one-hum models?

I've played the RG2610E and it's a fantastic gutiar. I kinda like the idea of a one humbucker gutiar.
