Anyone with an Edge III trem, I need measurements!

Hey, so I'm actually retrofitting the Edge III into a cheapie RG270. I know, I know, everyone hates the Edge III but it was a whole $40. Anyway, the problem i'm running into is that the Edge III's block strangely runs aaalllll the way across the underside of the bridge. Well, since the RG270 wasn't routed for this, I've got some dremel work to do! To anyone that has a guitar that came with an Edge III, could you please: Measure how thick the remaining wood is that the block hovers over on the non-whammy bar side? I'm guessing it's only like 1/4", but I'd like to be exact if possible. Also, if anyone by chance has access to the official measurements of an Edge III route, that would be amazing! Thanks!

I am about to replace the Edge III in my RG320EX with a Gotoh, just waiting for the Gotoh to arrive in mail -i think it's due today. I'll take the measurement and post back here when I start the replacement project.
