Re: Anyone own a Bedell Acoustic?
Old Ovation. Too much time in a house with a wood stove, top cracked, continued with this for some time. Then neck started to have the strangest high spot around 15th fret and a twist. On "more than normal" dry days guitar wood have maybe 10-15 dead frets. I would guess the lack of movement on the composite back gives added movement to the top. Give it a week of rain guitar played perfect. After many attempts with humidity control for years I gave up. I did much research on this matter (proper humidity) and did not want to replace. I play electric 90% more than acoustic so it was not the biggest deal but now guitar is gone.
Anyway, I now need a new acoustic.
