anyone that owns and esp m2

How is the neck compared to a wizard2?
Is the block joint sorta curved or is it like a strat block joint?
and where is the battery box on them?

Hey man, I have an older ESP M-II deluxe and love it, i think its the same neck with the newer m-ii...
WizardII and ESP's neck are almost the same dimensions, but i think the ESP is a bit more D shape... I love them both...

Re: anyone that owns and esp m2

I just picked up a m-II with a bolt on maple neck. The neck joint angles from about 5/8 inch at the 17th fret to almost an inch at the end of the neck.It is quite comfortable for higher fret access. The neck is not as thin as a wizard but is very comfortable and plays excellent.Mine has the duncan passives in it.Overall, I really like this guitar.I've tried most of the esp neck profiles and this feels the closest to an ibanez style neck.If it didn't have a maple fretboard I might have not bought it.

I sorta want a rosewood fretboard, but that only comes with the emgs
Maple with the duncans, which i want for pickups. I think I will go with the maple/duncans.
