Anyone play a proline series or have any info or thoughts on the series

Hi folks,

Hope you are all doing well

This site is just what I was after, a nice place to catch up with other fans of Ibanez guitars.

I play an 86 proline 2550 but have found very little on the site regarding any Proline series. Not sure if that's a good or bad thing!

This post is to see if anyone can let me know a bit more about the Proline series, good or bad I'd just like to know. I have owned my pure black 2550 for the last 13 years and just love her, apart from the slightest chip beside the coil tap she is in perfect looking and working order.

Thanks in advance for any info or comments

Dave

yep, for a short time :

http://www.jemsite.com/forums/f18/ng...mm-107244.html

the neck is absolutely amazing ( let me confirm ! hahaha !)
a real beauty by the Ebony and the binding
slightly thicker and C-shape(round) than a Wizard but a must !

the one I prefer is from the RBM, I think, a fine evolution of the Proline neck

They are VERY nice guitars..... some of the best Ibanez ever produced in my opinion. I've owned MANY RG's, a couple of S series, a couple of Prestige's, a USA custom, and a Universe but the Proline's have always eluded me......... Definitely high on my priority list!!!
You cant ever go wrong with a neck-thru!!!!!
