arc models

I have now added the ARC100, ARC300, and the very rare ARC500 to my guitar wall. I think they are the greatest. They are becoming vary scarce and I am glad I have them. Doubt if I will ever part with them

Re: arc models

I have an ARC300, love it. A good reasonable priced guitar!

Re: arc models

Hi, I believe that dollar for dollar the ARC model guitars are the best. My Les Paul Custom has a slightly mellower tone, and cost a lot more money. but the Ibanez guitars get played the most. I did find another arc500 and bought it immediately, but it arrived damaged. I was pissed. UPS blamed the seller and wouldnt pay up so the seller and I agreed on a reduced price and a friend of mine bought it from me. What color is your 300? Mine is the violin sunburst. Stays in tune and sounds great through my Peavey Vypyr tube60. The 300's are becoming scarce because the owners wont give them up. They were made only in 06 and 07. The 500 was made in 07 only. Hang onto that 300. It will only go up in value.

Re: arc models

Yeah I agree. I love my 300. I picked up my friends Les paul custom and the sound sounded less... warm... I actually prefer my ARC over his Les paul. The inlays are amazing, a true work of art! I don't think I will ever part with it, this guitar is a great guitar to dick around with, but also sounds great in pubs! I really try to avoid buying guitars online because of that, but I really do feel your pain! My 300 is also the violin sunburst! I have never had problems with it going out of tune! Nowadays I only play on Ibanez, so this guitar will hopefully never leave my hands. Also I recently added a Jem 77dy, and am currently making a swirl project jem with some evos and a gotoh trem.

Happy Holidays,

Brett

Re: arc models

i also like to look at the Guitar Center site to look at their USED guitars. If you buy it and don't like it, they will take it back--no questions asked. I recently bought a used Ibanez rg4ex from them that had a price drop down to $169. It had quite a few surface scratches that you couldn't feel with the fingernails, so i got out the automotive polishing compound and in a few days it looks brand new. And it plays great. A bit tricky setting up the floating bridge, but once done it is a very good guitar. I originally had intentions of fixing it up and selling it, but now I will keep it. Never tried a Ibanez till about a year and a half ago, and now I'm hooked. good luck with your project.

Re: arc models

Yeah I loved guitar Center. Thats an awesome policy! And yeah i use Automotive polishing compound as well! Wow 169, great buy! Yeah they do tend to be a pain setting them up! Ibanez is the way to go!

Thank you sir!
