Big Question???

Hi everyone! Whats the score on 440r now adays used? anything good to hear about it compared to RG's. Whats your take?

IMO, the 440R is a completely different animal than an RG. They don't feel the same, they don't sound the same and the necks are different.

I started out with 540R and have come back to them after having RG's for a few years.

Agreed, the 440R is quite a different beast from your typical RG500 or its successors.

the 440R had a far more vintage vibe, with a fuller body, bigger neck profile and the more traditional SSH layout.

They're great guitars and offer something more meaty to dig into compared to an RG. I'd say it's a great halfway step between traditional strat and modern RG.

Great guitar, super slim body, I have a H-H version.
