Bobbin Toppers

i see some guys on the "post pics of your modded ibanez" thread using these things called bobbin toppers, my question is how well do they work? I have black dimarzios and i wanna put green ones in my guitar but i dont wanna pay another 150 bucks for another set of dimarzios but i dont want them to look like hell. so should i spend the 150 or get the bobbin toppers for 10?

Re: Bobbin Toppers

Bobbin toppers are stickers... You'll just have to attach them to your pups and you're set.

Re: Bobbin Toppers

Go look at some of my purple guitar threads--my main 570 has a purple decal on the singlecoil and DNA fretmarkers. You can also visit the Reviews section where I wrote a decent review on them. They work great!

Re: Bobbin Toppers

...and now, back to the question--they work well! There are three sellers I know of that have these: Jockomo, Brian Calvert (UniversalJems.com), and another one on the bay. Of the three--Jockomo's are the best, not the ones mentioned above--those are Calvert's. His seem to wear off. Jockomo's are made of PET vinyl, and aren't coming off unless you take them off.

Yes--those are Brian Calvert's--not nearly as good as Jockomo's.
