Re: Built a hair metal monster.

Wow! Nice! I almost got the opposite. Same tuners on a maple neck, but the body is orange with a neon green strap... And it's a RG750 (with custom neck). Won't post pics, your guitar deserves some attention.

Re: Built a hair metal monster.

Tru-oil is final finish? Does it harden for a durable finish? Looks great!

Re: Built a hair metal monster.

Yes tru-oil hardens. It is an acceptable finish by Warmoth's warranty standards.

Re: Built a hair metal monster.

I have about $800 in it, but I traded another piece of gear for the Schaller Floyd. If I had to buy that it would have been near $1000. I didn't skimp on anything though. It's all top quality stuff and every component is exactly what i wanted. No compromises. Not bad for a grand IMO.

Re: Built a hair metal monster.

I love that color--it's pretty close to DY. And.....pu...pu...pu.....purple tuners?!?!?!? I have GOT to get some of those! I remembered seeing colored tuners a few years ago, but couldn't remember where. Where did they come from?
