Buz Mcgrath's new 7 string

Buz just posted this on his facebook and thought I'd share it here. I'm not a 7 string player myself, but this is a pretty riteous looking axe!

He said they are taking pre-orders right now with good discounts!

Silverburst only belongs on RD's and 70's LPC's, thats just ugly.

Re: Buz Mcgrath's new 7 string

Does anyone else notice that the trem route liiks angled? Probably an illusion but if not, it's REALLY weird. . . .

And I'd like it with an Ebony board.

I guess it's a thin body similar to an Ibanez S, but the output jack is on the back.

Any resemblance to his 2008 LACS7 is pure coincidence...

Re: Buz Mcgrath's new 7 string

The trem rout is likely offset to facilitate intonation of the wound strings which are prolly meant to be skilift cable gauges due to drop tunings .

Jesse Liu from CHTONIC's Katana 7 model. I don't know the band but the geet is awesome!
There is a 6 string as well but that is all black with the same inlay.

Note that the Katana 7 has the same angled trem rout as Buz's custom. Neat.

Re: Buz Mcgrath's new 7 string

I'm really digging the Katana 7.

If I ever get big enough for a LACS, It'll be a 7 string V. Not enough of those in the world.
