can someone please help identify my RG :)

Hey Guys hows it going?

Ok heres the story, i picked up what i beleive is a 86-87 ibanez RG 570 about 7 years ago (cheap) in a second hand store, obviously they didnt know what they had

now i own an ibanez RG450dx as well.

My 570 has the original neck style (not aanj style) and gotoh tuners.
It has a black non colourcoded head stock that just has ibanez on the front, on the back has made in japan. this guitar has 24 frets.

At first i thoughti t had a low pro edge but on further inspection i think it has an original ibanez EDGE, although the bridge cavity is very deep.

the pickups are V8 at the rear, v7 at the nech and SB2 in the middle. the middle pickup doesnt look like a coil style pickup as it is flat with 2 rails along the top of it. Did they replace the SB2 with something else? if so what year?

now the funny thing is its an odd colour, its an amber/mustard yellow transparent finish, and apart form a 2003 model rg i havent seen this exact colour.

the neck is about half as think as my rg450dx, i kid you not.

here are some videos of me playing it.

A serial number would be the easiest way to find out the age of the guitar.

It's a 92', should have a Lo Pro, but no idea what you mean by the color, and there's no 03' as you describe I know of either.

I don't know what years the 570FM's were made, you can look, but that's definately a 92'

"Rare" would definitely not be the correct term to use in regards to the SB2. "Uncommon" maybe, but "rare" implies value- it's a stock Ibanez pickup that could have been installed by anybody. The Ibanez pickups were widely available through dealers, so...anything is possible
