Check out this j-custom (JC-FM1DBK)

Was scouring south korea for some j-customs and found this one. Kinda looks like Ibanez merged a RG8670bx with a Jem 10th.
(aparently the owner got it from Ishibashi back in 2002).

Wow. That's a cool guitar!

Must have been a special run model made for Ishibashi or something.

That bound Ebony board with the vine is really nice.

(the host apparently doesn't like hotlinking)

that's a beautiful guitar EXCEPT for the pickguard. i totally love that binding/purfling. that is close to being my perfect ibanez.

edit: andelusion beat me to my good samaritan award by seconds!

lol View source=win.

I think the pickguard is that colour because it's got the protective plastic on, i've seen the Bad Horsie model's pickguard look like that with the film on.

I want to see some full shots of the guitar!

They made one in a red quilt just like it, without the pickguard though.

Wow, I have never seen one like that before! Thats gorgeous. Maybe a bit OTT for my liking, but very nice all the same. It almost looks too nice to play though.

Re: Check out this j-custom (JC-FM1DBK)

The pickguard is aprently stock. Btw, did anyone notice that the pickups are direct mounted even though there's a pickguard.

Love the guitar, just wish it didn't have the pickguard.
