Cort?

Growing up, Cort had a bad name in my circles. But I never actually played one.

I'd be willing to check them out. Ricky Garcia from these parts, and Jemfest performer is currently an endorser of Cort guitars.

Anyone have one of these babies?

Re: Cort?

I am pretty sure Cort makes/produces the lower line of Ibanez Guitars for Ibanez.

Re: Cort?

Loads of other guitars get made where the Corts do if I'm not mistaken. It's a bit like the Yamaha and the Samick factory I think.

Re: Cort?

Neil Zaza is a Cort endorser too.

I've tried of few of them - decent value guitars IMHO

Re: Cort?

The Cort's and the Shecters seem to fall in the same price quality category. My daughters Schecter with ebony fret board, nice maple top, 24 fret, set neck etc, seems to be a pretty darn nice guitar for under $700 new. And it look and awful like like some of the Cort's

Re: Cort?

I'm not that familiar with the guitars, but I know that the guitarist from the prog group "Arena" plays a Cort.

Re: Cort?

I've never played a Cort, but they're supposed to be really decent guitars, especially for the price.
