Custom Guitars

If anyone has pictures of a guitar they have customized I sure would like to show them off in the gallery over at Project Guitar

They don't have to be Ibanez or for that matter any brand, I have seperate gallerys for each kind of guitar there.

A little write up about it would be good to so everyone know what you did to customize it

Thanx Casey, ik hoop dat jij dit ook kan waarderen...

Anyway the bird-inays of the second were done by a pro...

Hope you guys like these as much as I did the first time I saw them

I have a couple here- in the guitar folder
http://photos.yahoo.com/bc/smorgasbord0072001
the roadstar- routed the center, filled with alder, and rerouted pickup slots, and painted.

the blue one- homemade, based on S series shape, with my own changes. started with a carvin neck-thru neck.

and my latest, My RG550 retop with amazing quilt maple.
faux binding (By masking), silver leaf edging covering the joint. you can see the old hot pink finish in the neck pocket. I stripped this long ago, and just decided to retop it. I wanted to lose the pickguard, so I routed it out from the bottom for wiring etc. Note- the screws are to keep it off any surfaces while Im spraying it. I like to spray the faces flat. It has about 3 coats of clear now, I havnt sanded yet, so it looks a little bumpy. I have about 4 coats to go. but its looking good

If you were interesested in putting any of these on your site, I could give more details and better pics. just email me-

Thank you for the replies, and thanks for the emails as well.

Looks like I'll have plenty to play with this week adding to the gallery!

If you want to add your own discriptions send those as well, after all every little bit helps

Peace, Brian

Brian, you can use mine if you want:

http://www.geocities.com/cmd4rll/refin.html

It's an RG450 that was refinished with color-changing lacquer, a chrome OFR, and new pickups, chrome dome knobs and lots of polish

Sweet jesus!! I looked at your site, it's incredible! I can't believe you did that on your own. Was that your first one? It's amazing.
