Custom truss rod cover. AWSOME DEAL!! pictures

found a guy on ebay who makes custom engraved truss rod covers for the current ibanezs' without the string retainer. It was $14.99 + shipping and the amazing thing is I got in 3 days!!

the only thing wrong with it is the bottom of the cover isn't angled like the stock covers, but i took a nail file to it and fixed it in like 2 minutes.

dudes called philaluthiertools check him out and check the pics

There are quite a few more vendors offering these now--nice to see them!
I'd like to see more of the new sliding Ibanez truss rod covers available.

Actually they also sell covers that match the dimensions of the sliding ones. I actually thought that the sliding ones are the same dimensions of the prestige ones but they're apparently different

Apparently you can take a Ibanez with a string retainer bar and remove the bar. Then put the new sliding trussrod covers on it to make it look like the current Ibanez guitars.

But I am not sure why you'd want to do that.

There is a reason those retaining bars came with guitars in the first place.
