The disappearance of the RG3120

Its really sad that they have ceased to be produced from this year onwards, IMO, they were the flagship line of the prestige Rg's. But on a brighter note, it would mean that some places are blowing them out for cheap, so if you have always wanted one, i guess now is the time to get it!

Re: The disappearance of the RG3120

I share your sadness of the disappearance of the RG3120, I was hoping for some better colors so I could buy one this year. (Don't like the 2005 colors).

But I don't think anyone is gonna "blow them out". If I had an item that was suddenly less commonplace, I would think of RAISING prices.

Back to watching the used stores..I/Rules, Chris's, etc.

Re: The disappearance of the RG3120

I am also quite dissapointed that the RG 3120 has been discontinued. Right now I am saving every penny I can to get one before it's to late. I have also been watching auction sites and banner retailers for a used model. It's my fault. I waited to see if this year they would make one in deep red again.

Actually, it did not totally disappeared. It now emerges as RG20063 and RG20062 (the jigsaw puzzle guitars). More cool now

Re: The disappearance of the RG3120

Unfortunately, the puzzle are cute at first glance; but I'm afraid they would quickly deteriorate to butt-ugly within a few months.

Not really, as those are extremely limited production models, much more so than the RG20051, which aren't exactly common.
