Re: Do I need to lower my neck angle?
What is the action like on the guitar? If it's good, and you like it, then the headstock angle or height doesn't matter. Don't change it for aesthetic reasons, or in other words, for the way it looks. Only adjust it for technical reasons.
If the action is too high then you could effectively tilt the headstock back by putting a thin shim at the very end of the neck, between the two screw holes nearest your neck pick-up. You won't need much - literally a thin piece of card like from a business card or a matchbox. The neck joint screws need to be tight but hand tight with a normal crosshead screwdriver, not a power tool at maximum torque.
Cheers for now.
